At First Trinity we have a growing population of young people, eager to learn about God. We have two groups that meet on Sunday mornings, in addition to our summer Jesus and Justice day camp, and other hang outs and activities that happen throughout the year.
Godly Play is for youth ages 3-11, every Sunday (during the school year) at 9:15 am.
Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond. Come join us!
Confirmation takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 9:15. Youth ages 12-16 are invited to speak to Pastor Tom if they would like to participate.
Our confirmation use Collaborate: Challenging, lifelong faith. Collaborate uses hands-on investigative learning that leads to deep engagement with the Bible, faith, and what it means to be a Christian.
Jesus and Justice Camp takes place every August.
At Jesus and Justice Camp we meet for four evenings to play, talk, explore, sing and learn. Past themes have been: A Hard Rain is Gonna Fall, I’m Going to Camp When the Spirit Says Camp, and Social Justice Summer Evenings. Look for more information in July.
